Aerial Photography

Crisp, perspective-true images captured from 40 to 400 ft give your project the context a ground camera can’t. Every flight is overseen by an FAA Part 107-certified pilot, so safety and regulatory compliance are built in. As a licensed Landscape Architect, I bring a designer’s eye both in the sky and on the tripod, highlighting grading lines, planting rhythms, and materials exactly as intended.

Aerial Mapping

We fly automated grid missions to generate high-resolution orthomosaics and 3-D point clouds. Ideal for preliminary site design, stockpile tracking, and progress verification. These files can be exported straight to your CAD, GIS, or BIM platform.

Landscape & Architectural Photography

Drawing on 17 years as a practicing, licensed Landscape Architect, I compose every frame with technical accuracy and artistic intent. I schedule shoots around sun angle and seasonal highlights, capturing early-morning rakes, golden-hour warmth, or peak-bloom color to reveal form, texture, and planting at their most compelling. Expect high-resolution, perspective-corrected images ready for awards submissions, marketing decks, and client presentations.

Hi! My name is Kurt…

…I’m a Tennessee-licensed landscape architect. Over the past 17 years, I’ve worked at top landscape architecture firms in New York City, Portland, Oregon, and now Chattanooga, Tennessee—designing and documenting projects ranging from urban rooftops to neighborhood parks.

I also hold an FAA Part 107 certificate, which allows me to photograph projects from both the ground and the air with the same attention to detail I bring to my drawings.

I’m active in the Nooga Night Rotary Club and founded Rotary Tree Towns, a volunteer program that’s planted over 100 young trees in neighborhoods across the city, an incremental step toward a healthier urban canopy.

Outside of work, I stay busy with my four-year-old daughter, experiment with home-cured meats, take laid-back bike rides around the neighborhood, and obsess over Ohio State football each fall.

I value clear communication, practical problem-solving, and good design—principles I aim to bring to every project and partnership.
